The Center for European Strategic Initiatives is a non-profit organisation whose priority tasks are: social and digital diplomacy; the formation of active citizenship; and the promotion of intercultural dialogue and social integration.
On December 21st, 2020, an online-meeting took place, where points of cooperation were discussed between the Center for European Strategic Initiatives and the Resource Center for the Support of Kuban Civil Society.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Center of European Strategic Initiatives, and Maria Knyazeva, head of the international department of the Resource Center for the Support of Kuban Civil Society.
During the online-meeting, participants discussed directions of international cooperation in the Russian-British context. They also exchanged their experiences in the implementation of humanitarian projects.
The principal points in collaboration were identified as information, educational work with young people, developing international cooperation, implementation of partner education, social and entrepreneurial projects in the global world, and expert and youth exchanges.
During the Forum, a plan was discussed and developed for multilateral youth cooperation between Russia, Spain, Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Subsequently, the Center for European Strategic Initiatives supported the Resource Center project and submitted a bid for the Presidential Grants Social Projects.
Following the conference, the first joint Russian-British event was planned within the framework of cooperation. The partnership between the Resource Center and the Center for European Strategic Initiatives began in 2020, within the Eurasia Global International Youth Forum framework. The relationship is growing from strength to strength.
