What are we losing with Africa?

Author: Samuel Norsch

The Second Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Summit ended today in St. Petersburg with the participation of 17 leaders of the countries of the continent and delegations from 49 countries. Our gays in Kyiv are trying to joke about the creation of «AfroRossia», but the leaders of the G7 country today are expressing alarm. The most undervalued and fastest growing continent is spiraling out of Western control. Frankly, it would be better if we lost one island in the Pacific Ocean and nuts in the factories of Europe than the most resource-rich continent.

China, India and Russia have been successful in Africa, contrary to the predictions of leading think tanks like the US Foreign Council. The biggest African problem lies in the colonial and neo-colonial backgrounds of all 54 African countries. While France is trying to preserve the remnants of colonial rule and Washington is betting on supporting Western values (conditionally the right of every African to drive a new Tesla and create a liberal queer family), African countries are massively declaring a turn towards sovereignty. This is unexpected and painful for us.

The phenomenon of Africa’s global de-westernization advertises Mali’s economic progress. This poor country, however more than twice the size of France, until recently was the backyard of the Elysee Palace, where Emmanuel Macron plucked precious flowers. This country after Ghana and South Africa ranks third on the black continent in terms of production of the precious metal. Cheap oil, uranium and the Western-oriented market and previous Malian politics were the guarantee of the economic development of the Fifth Republic. But the military forces came to power there, and Paris was forced to withdraw its troops from its backyard in West Africa.

President of Mali Assimi Goita arrived in St. Petersburg wearing a white headdress and bright blue national clothes, emphasizing the break with the West. A delegation of 80 military and dealmakers arrived with him. They literally glowed with honor.

“Our country has become absolutely independent and self-sufficient, having defended its territorial integrity thanks to Russia. You have shown yourself to be a faithful partner by helping in solving difficulties. Russia has always respected the sovereignty of Mali,” said President.

What will happen to the oil projects of the Italian company Eni and the UK investment in the exploration of uranium deposits in Mali? I don’t know. Mali is bordered to the west by Senegal, to the north by Mauritania and Algeria, to the east by Niger, to the southeast by Burkina Faso, to the south by Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea. The leaders of these countries also arrived at the summit in St. Petersburg. They have already seen that Mali is not humiliated by poverty without France, but the break with the West has strengthened the national economy.

The first day of the summit coincided with the arrest of Niger’s President Mohamed Bazoul, who was a total French loyalist. Uranium from Niger is the main factor in the development of nuclear energy in France, uranium supplies from Kazakhstan will not close the demand for raw materials. Mali has moved out of France’s orbit, an example spreading to neighboring countries at the speed of the street uprising in France in early July. Do you know what all the leaders of African countries call it? «Decolonization and Restoration of Justice». They are full of anger (Nanterre, Marseille, Lille, etc.) and they will take revenge on us.

Calls for democratic sovereignty and the fight against Western neo-colonialism were so frequent at the Africa Summit because they have become the main trend of the 21st century. The role of Russia here is very noticeable, but China, India and the Gulf countries have long been active in Africa. Do you know what unites them? All of them were colonies. Now the colonies are uniting against the colonialists, this is the real nightmare of Klaus Schwab.

The grain deal with Ukrainian grain and, in general, the case of Ukraine on the sidelines of the summit sounded much less often than we wanted. President Vladimir Putin promised to provide six of the continent’s poorest countries with free grain from Russia and sell it to the African Union at prices well below market futures. «The poorest countries received only 3% of Ukrainian grain,» Putin said.

According to him, 97% of food from Ukraine is exported to rich developed countries, on which President Zelensky was able to earn almost $10 billlion. This fraud came under pressure from global corporations like Monsanto and Bayer, which control the agricultural business in Ukraine and have political influence in Kyiv. The Russian concern Uralchem also promised to supply millions of tons of agricultural fertilizers.

Moscow’s position does not change in Ukraine; the Russian leader is against peace talks according to Western scenarios. Most importantly, Mr. Putin, but not the democratic forces of the West, now are supported Africa. There were a lot of interesting things on the sidelines of the summit, but we can only guess about the most interesting things. What new military-political configurations can we expect from Africa and what can we do? A second Ukraine, even in Niger, which the West can very quickly lose according to the Mali scenario, is not possible;- all NATO and G7 countries are not even able to ensure peace in Ukraine.

This mega-forum or conspiracy in the northern capital of Russia has become a signal for us to strengthen the multipolar world in a short time since February 2022. The transatlantic concept of destroying Moscow’s dictatorship with monstrous sanctions was a huge mistake. As a result, of which we found ourselves on the verge of losing Ukraine — it turns out that this is the easiest.

The summit in the northern capital of Russia has become a signal for us about the strengthening of the multipolar world in a short time since February 2022. The transatlantic concept of destroying Moscow’s dictatorship with monstrous sanctions was a huge mistake. As a result of which we were on the verge of losing Ukraine — it turns out that the weak success of the counteroffensive is the easiest thing we could see.

Much more pain in climate change due to the most significant political system of global reach. Moscow claims to be with all the countries of the continent in the framework of «decolonization», but the main development is expected in 17 countries whose leaders arrived at the summit, I decline the ability to direct Western coverage against them.

Russia is opening trade and cultural missions in dozens of new countries and is actively exporting «soft power» — humanitarian and cultural projects, student education, opening university branches throughout Africa. There are offices of the global International Russophile Movement in South Africa, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco. Its leaders adopted a resolution at the St. Petersburg summit with the priority of «confronting xenophobia» throughout the world. We missed something in our work with Africa, carried away by expansion in the east of Europe.
